The Yaesu FT-3165E is a rugged, space-saving 2-metre mobile transceiver built to provide dependable, high-quality communication. Offering up to 65 watts of transmit power, along with selectable output settings of 65W, 30W, or 5W, it adapts easily to different operating conditions—whether used in a base station or installed in a vehicle.

Equipped with Yaesu’s FACC (Funnel Air-Convection Conductor) passive cooling system, the FT-3165E maintains stable performance during extended operation without requiring a cooling fan. This fan-less design ensures quiet operation, improved efficiency, and long-term reliability.

A robust 5-watt front-facing speaker delivers crisp, clear audio, even in challenging noise environments. For greater sound output, the radio also supports the optional Yaesu MLS-100 external speaker, making it well suited for mobile setups or louder operating locations.
