About Discontinued Vectronics VEC-830K - SSB Audio filter
The VEC-830K Super SSB Audio Filter Kit dramatically improves readability from your receiver or transceiver. It optimizes your audio bandwidth to reduce sideband splatter, low and high pitched interference, hiss, static crashes, background noise and 60 and 120 Hz hum. It makes listening for long periods of time more pleasurable and much less fatiguing. Ideal for contesting and Dxing.
It plugs into phone jack of any receiver or transceiver to drive head phones. You can connect it between your receiver audio stage for speaker operation. An 8 pole active IC filter includes 375 Hz highpass cutoff plus switch selectable lowpass cutoffs at 2.5, 2, 1.5 KHz (36 dB per octave rolloff).
It uses 9V battery (not included) and measures 1¾ x 3½ x 3½ inches.
DELIVERY
We aim to dispatch all parcels within 24hrs. We are normally able to dispatch parcels SAME DAY where orders are received before 2.00pm Monday to Friday.
