The Second Hand MFJ-949E Deluxe Versa Tuner II is a versatile 300-watt manual antenna tuner designed to match virtually any transmitter or transceiver to almost any antenna system. Covering 1.8–30 MHz, the MFJ-949E allows smooth, precise tuning across all HF amateur bands, making it ideal for base station or portable operation. This tuner features MFJ’s proven roller inductor design for ultra-fine tuning and includes a large, easy-to-read cross-needle SWR/power meter for simultaneous forward and reflected power monitoring. It also includes an internal 4:1 balun, enabling the use of balanced line-fed antennas, and a built-in dummy load for convenient transmitter testing and tuning.
