The Icom SM-J1 Premium Dual-Element Desktop Microphone is designed for amateur radio operators seeking exceptional transmit audio and professional performance. Its dual dynamic microphone elements deliver rich, clear and natural audio while helping reduce breath pops and plosive sounds.

With selectable Unidirectional and Omnidirectional modes, the SM-J1 can either minimise background shack noise or provide a consistent frequency response, making it ideal for everyday operation, DXing and contesting.

The microphone can be detached from its desktop stand and mounted to a standard 5/8-inch boom arm, while the rear footswitch connector provides convenient hands-free PTT operation.

Compatible with a range of Icom transceivers, including the IC-7760, IC-7610, IC-7300 series, IC-718 and IC-9700.
