Discontinued DD Amtek HPN-30118T notch filter and high pass filter

HPN-30118T High pass filter combined with notch filter 87-109 MHz with static protection, for VHF/UHF receivers/scanners and other applications.

It is especially suitable to be connected between a wide band antenna (such as discone) and a wide band preamplifier. Efficiently suppresses interference caused by strong signals from short wave (HF), MW and LW bands and from the VHF FM broadcast band.

Popular with scanner users to eliminate interference and overloading caused by strong broadcast and local signals. Electrical parametres optimized for permanent installation near the antenna. RF choke is used at the input to protect the filter and possible LNA against static charges.
