The GRE PSR-282 is a great handheld scanner for monitoring the VHF Marine band, as well as the important Civil Aircraft band, it also has the new 8.33Khz steps for the newer frequencies too, so airband is well covered on this model, and with 200 fixed memory channels, it is easy to store all your favourite stations for easy access. The GRE PSR-282 has a great range from 66 -512 Mhz, so also covers the VHF and UHF amateur bands as well as the normal traffic, it's a great all rounder.
