Portable Mobile Radio, known as PMR446 radio service, is a licence free, easy to use, high quality voice, two way radio system.

The Government introduced it to be suitable for personal, leisure or business use. This is a two way communication system with a range of up to two miles.

No licence fee is required and there are no call charges - air time is completely free, so once you have bought the product there are no extra charges.
