Great radio the Yaesu FT817, but the battery could be better, we think
the Maha FNB-72 is better by far, with its 1700mAh capacity, the Maha
will give better performance and if you already have a MH-777 charger, you can
use the supplied lead with the FNB-72 to rapid charge the battery if needed. The
original Yaesu charger can still be used with this new battery, just put the
FT-817 through 2 charge cycles to charge to maximum capacity.We have reduced the
