NiCad batteries; or use long life AA alkalines. A  DC jack allows for simultaneous battery charging while operating the radio.

With the optional software & cable, IC-R5 programming & cloning are a breeze. Hook the radio up to a PC and you're ready to customise channel names, scan list and more.
