Comet CHA-250B -  Multiband Base Antenna

The Comet CHA250B broadband vertical antenna will amazingly cover from 80m to 6m with no gaps! Transmit range is 3.5-57 MHz and receive range is 2-90 MHz. SWR <1.5:1. This vertical requires no radials and weighs only 7.1 lbs.

We have assembled and fitted one of these and ready for on the air in 30 minutes !! It fits together really well, nicely engineered,  and if you are restricted for antenna installation space, this CHA-250B could well be the answer to get on the main amateur bands from 80m - 6m.

Newly designed High Power (1kw) 4-Band trap dipole antenna, . Can be used both straight and /or V type. When used as V type, ready to transmit from low position of 3m high from the ground. Now back in stock, the VA-250 is ideal for restricted space installations, i.e balcony fitting , as no ground radials are necessary, and the antenna will cover all amateur bands from 80m - 6m, using similar loading coil techniques as the very popular CHA-250B vertical. Overall width is only 2.56m, and the height is 0.66m, so this wideband antenna has great potential for fitting in those places where HF operation seems impossible. We have had great customer feedback on this antenna, especially when using  the supplied10m wire attached to the coil in place of the 2 elements. SWR is impressively low on all bands,  and the whole antenna can be up and running in a few minutes. Where space is a premium, then the V-250 may be the answer to HF operating.
