Nevada Radio

Nevada has been in the radio business since 1969. Since those early days, the company has now grown into a multi-million enterprise, and over the years we have won many awards for our obsession with customer service, as well as our own Nevada products.

With an extensive distribution centre and warehouse, we are main UK distributors for a range of Radio and Electronic products. Brands we exclusively represent include Porsche Design Audio, Eton Corporation USA, Maha Powerex Batteries and Chargers, Magic Box Radios and Telephones, Alinco, Comet, Uniden Bearcat and GRE Amateur Radio equipment.

Our retail division are main dealers for Roberts Radio, Pure Digital, Icom, Yaesu, Kenwood and many other leading brands.

Trade enquiries are welcomed by our Distribution Division.

Meet the Team

Meet some of the team who help make us the best:

  • Paul Saunders

    Paul (G0VRL), originally from South Wales, runs "front of house" in our retail showroom. He also deals with many of your e-mail questions and telephone enquiries. As a keen radio Amateur for the past 17 years, Paul has a wealth of experience and will always go the extra mile to help out.

  • André Ravary

    André joined the company in June 2009, and is an enthusiastic Radio Amateur. André, a Canadian, has been involved in Amateur Radio since 1976, and has operated all over the world, including the Canadian Arctic and the Golan Heights in the Middle East.

  • John Gordon

    John has been with Nevada for over 30 years now. He started with us in the days when CB radio was illegal and for many years campaigned for its legalisation. He also wrote a book on CB radio which was very popular in its day but has long since gone out of print.

    These days he helps new comers to CB radio and the scanning hobby. John should have retired 3 years ago, but because of his love of the job we can't get him to leave.

  • Mike Devereux

    Mike founded and runs the company as Managing Director. Mike has diversified the companys activities with divisions in Radio, Musical Instruments & Sound Equipment. The company currently owns a Radio Distribution centre and separate Music Retail Superstore at Farlington. Listen out on the air for Mike's callsign, G3SED!

  • Phil Jeffery

    Phil has been with the company over 29 years and runs our Radio dealer division. Phil is the first point of contact for any new dealer or distributor enquiry. His reputation for getting things done "fast" has helped the company grow it's dealer base to more than 1,500 retail outlets in the UK and numerous dealers around the world.

  • Helen Wells

    Helen is our Senior Administrator, she has been with the company over 26 years. Helen oversees our accounts, administration & internet sales enquiries. If you send an enquiry via email she will ensure it is processed almost by return. For our dealers she is the person to contact regarding account queries.

  • Gemma Wapshare

    Gemma is a bubbly, friendly & enthusiastic person who has won many friends amongst our customers. She is mainly responsible for Trade sales and administration, but is always willing to help with any problems.

  • Marcia Brogan

    Marcia Brogan runs our PR department. She is responsible for the promotion of the company and its' products to national newspapers, magazines & trade publications. Marcia also co-ordinates PR events & promotions.
